Schaefer scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Friday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Flyers.
Scouting Report
Has a projectable frame and incredible mobility, which he uses to jump up into the play to create odd-numbered rushes. His overall skating ability is elite, so he can get back into position more quickly than most. His play can be a bit chaotic at times so he needs to learn to pick his spots at the NHL level. Also displays great character.
Long Range Potential: Franchise offensive defenseman.
